These shoes are very comfortable and good for skirts and slacks.

Comfortable if you choose the correct size for your needs
Like many other reviewers, I have worn this shoe since the 80's. It seems that the toe box has become smaller for my square cut toes so I add 1/2 size. I also now buy Wide instead of Medium. Being retired, I no longer wear pantyhose or knee highs and need more room for my thin socks. I have a high instep so the laceup styling allows me to adjust the fit to suit. Any other style causes my foot to cramp due to the pressure. I have many colors so they are my go to shoe when I'm not wearing walking shoes. I hope they are continued for many years to come.

Not a sneaker person since the Mach I was discontinued!
The motion fits the bill. Please don't ever discontinue this one. Casual enough for jeans and stylish enough for a dress pant. Wish they had the colors available in all sizes. ALSO why aren't the Motion shoes available in the outlet stores anymore??? Not happy about that at all.

Not quite perfect but will keep them.
The color is more like dark brown than Maroon as described on the website; the delivery label calls it Prune. I bought them for running errands, so I'm not that fussy about the color. The other weird thing is that the pebbly texture is slightly different on one shoe from the other; again, not enough of a problem to make me send them back.
